Examples of Social Media Marketing

A few examples of social media marketing that I know of are a few of my friends on Facebook who run their own businesses. They are constantly advertising on Facebook and while I tend to find it annoying at times, I know it is something I would do if I had a business of my own to promote. As to whether it works for them or not, I would have to say I'm sure that it does work. It increases their exposure and gets the word out to a more far reaching audience than they could've before social media existed.
